Tricky started bowling a long time before the others did, beginning at the age of 5. He ended up leaving the YBC for a year and a half, by which time his average was around 190. He decided to return to the YBC when visiting AMF Torquay on the 6th December 2003, where he met Sherbie for the first time, and tried out for the Devon Under 18s very soon after, easily making the team. Although he is not quite averaging as highly as he was before his initial departure from the YBC, he is still easily the top member of the team. He can get a little irate if things aren't going well for him, but he is a very strong bowler.
